Course DescriptionThe second in a two‑course series in intermediate financial accounting. The topical coverage includes an in‑depth analysis of current and long‑term liabilities, stockholder's equity, earnings per share calculations, the revenue recognition principle, accounting for income taxes, pension accounting, lease accounting, and the statement of cash flows.
QualificationsCandidates must have a Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of accounting discipline.
Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California.
Teaching
Schedule:
In‑Person Saturdays 8/1, 8/8, 8/15 from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Online Mondays and Wednesdays 7/20–8/12 from 7:00 PM–9:00 PM.
Salary: $7,447 and $10,308 depending on qualifications. The salary range is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021.
