Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty – Nursing Program (Fall 2026, NURS 323 Section

Location: Moraga, CA
Description: Saint Mary’s College of California seeks adjunct faculty for the NURS 323 Global Health course. The instructor is responsible for delivering course content, leading instructional activities, ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensing standards, and fostering student success through evidence‑based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and coordinate the NURS 323 Global Health course across two clinical sections.
- Lead and manage instructional work, ensuring adherence to program policies and accreditation standards.
- Integrate the Professional Role model and role‑clarity concepts into curriculum, teaching, and student mentorship.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain course quality and outcomes in collaboration with faculty leaders.
- Promote inclusive learning environments that support students of color, women, and underrepresented groups.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or BSN with a minimum of three years experience.
- Approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas.
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in California.
- Three years of continuous direct patient‑care experience within the last five years.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators.
- Experience using computers and technology for teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree.
- Demonstrated record of teaching successfully at the undergraduate level, with specific specialty experience.
- Experience developing, managing, and evaluating curriculum or programs.
Salary Range: $46.55 – $64.43 per hour, in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
