Position Overview
Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty in World Languages and Cultures (Spanish 102) – Continuing Elementary Spanish. The position is part-time and will be held at the Moraga, CA campus.
Course:
Spanish 102 (Continuing Elementary Spanish).
Schedule:
MWF 10:40–11:45 am in Fall 2026. The class is taught in person on the Moraga campus.
Salary: $9,929–$13,744, dependent on qualifications, within the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021.
Responsibilities- Provide daily course and class preparation and grading.
- Deliver classroom instruction during scheduled class time.
- Hold two hours of office hours each week.
- Maintain a small‑classroom teaching environment focused on interactive learning.
- BA in Spanish or a related field, with a demonstrated record of professional and academic excellence, or an equivalent combination of professional and academic experience; MA preferred.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate learners.
- Residence in California.
