Fall 2026 NURS 321 Section 1 Community Health Lecture (3 units)

Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty, Nursing Program

Location: Moraga, CA

Open Date:

Position: Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty – per‑course teaching in NURS 321 Community Health / Faith Studies.

Job responsibilities include leadership and management of instructional work, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and the California Nurse Practice Act, developing curriculum, coordinating student success, incorporating evidence‑based practice, and maintaining a role‑driven framework for teaching.

Teaching across two clinical sections.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or BSN with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
  • Approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas.
  • Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Three years of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the last five years.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators.
  • Experience in using computers and other technologies for teaching and learning.

Salary Range: $46.55 – $64.43 per hour, covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree.
  • Demonstrated record of teaching successfully at the undergraduate level with specific experience in an area of specialty.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and evaluating curriculum or programs.
