Assistant/Associate Adjunct Faculty for Nursing Program, teaching NURS 322 Gerontology. The candidate must be approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching across two clinical sections and coordinating instructional work.
• Leading and managing assigned instructional activities, ensuring compliance with program policies, accreditation standards, and the California Nurse Practice Act.
• Integrating role clarity and the Maria O'Rourke Professional Role model into curriculum, student mentoring, and policy development.
• Ensuring evidence‑based practice is incorporated into both patient care and student learning outcomes.
• Collaborating with program leaders and other faculty to maintain course quality and student competency evaluation.

Term Dates, Days, and Times of instructional work assignments are to be determined.

All work must be performed within the State of California.

$46.55 - $64.43 per hour, covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021.

• Master's degree in Nursing or BSN with a minimum of three years of experience.
• Approved by the Board of Registered Nursing to teach one of the five content areas.
• Current and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Three years of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care within the last five years.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse student body, staff, faculty, and administrators.
• Experience in using computers and other technologies for teaching and learning.

• Doctoral degree.
• Demonstrated record of teaching successfully at the undergraduate level with specific experience in an area of specialty.
• Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and evaluating curriculum or programs.
