Arendell Engineers is seeking an entry level Civil Engineer to join our office in Morehead City, North Carolina. Qualified candidates will have experience that includes training and experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Candidates will have obtained a B.S.C.E. degree from an accredited civil engineering college and are pursuing professional registration by having either passed the FE exam or are preparing to take the exam.
We are looking for an individual with written and verbal communication skills who is energetic, self‑directed, and has good work habits.
- Perform computations, analysis and plan preparation in the AutoCAD, Civil 3D environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to perform field observations of construction and perform field data collection.
- Be on path to professional registration.
- Willing to work beyond normal working hours for deadline completion or to accommodate field conditions.
- Work in an entrepreneurial environment to define and pursue their individual interests while supported other professionals in the firm.
Candidate must have interest in multiple civil engineering sub‑disciplines. Arendell Engineers are problem solvers in areas of land development, stormwater management and hydraulic engineering, water and wastewater engineering and coastal and marine engineering.
