Position: Business Systems Analyst I (Temporary - Carteret)

Business Systems Analyst I (S)

Position Number: NC16, Grade: NC16. Temporary position located at 3441 Arendell St., Morehead City, Carteret County, with the Division of Marine Fisheries. Hourly rate: $30.00.

Job Description

This position supports the analysis, design, and improvement of business and program systems for the Division of Marine Fisheries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate existing applications and business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and recommend technology solutions.
  • Assist with implementation and management of key systems that support DMF programs.
  • Act as liaison between business staff and technical teams, translating operational needs into system requirements.
  • Support testing and training efforts.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance productivity and data management across the division.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an appropriately accredited institution in a discipline related to the assignment with two years of programmatic experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
