, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a highly skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse for a rewarding travel assignment with one of our esteemed healthcare clients.

• Valid RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by our client facility

Progressive Care Registered Nurses provide vital care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments, ensuring they are stable enough not to require ICU care. PCU nurses track critical vital signs and cardiac monitoring to identify any changes, facilitating timely intervention in emergencies. Many PCU patients are on complex medication regimens that may necessitate adjustments based on their vital signs.

• Monitor and assess patients who require close observation, but are stable enough for PCU care.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track cardiac and vital information, allowing for rapid response to life‑threatening situations.
