Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position in Morehead City, NC. This 13‑week assignment requires 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.

Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds freely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. Must manage stress and communicate with patients and staff across diverse backgrounds.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications; 2 years RN experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
