Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient cardiology clinic. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care. Primary responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiac conditions, providing patient education, and promoting preventive care. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
The candidate will also play a key role in teaching and supporting patients and their families in managing their cardiovascular health.
Qualifications:
- Current license and registration to practice in North Carolina
- Current ACLS#Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a cardiology or related setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide ongoing management of patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Educate patients and their families about disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and specialists as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic
