Location: Newport / Morehead City, NC

Carolina Service Works is a full-service contractor serving Morehead City, Newport, Carteret County, and surrounding North Carolina communities. The company provides construction, remodeling, plumbing, HVAC, water heater services, and related home improvement work. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Ductwork Installer to handle new construction installations, duct system replacements, and repairs.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean, professional installations and can complete assigned work with limited supervision. You will work in new construction, renovations, attics, crawlspaces, and existing homes, installing and repairing duct systems while coordinating closely with the HVAC team and other trades.

• Install supply and return duct systems for new construction and renovation projects
• Remove and replace existing ductwork in attics, crawlspaces, and other building areas
• Repair disconnected, damaged, leaking, sagging, or poorly supported ductwork
• Install flex duct, metal duct, duct board, plenums, transitions, boots, registers, grilles, and dampers
• Seal, insulate, and support ductwork according to project requirements and installation standards
• Follow approved layouts and duct sizes while identifying routing conflicts before proceeding
• Prepare material lists and communicate shortages before they delay the job
• Coordinate with the HVAC supervisor, installation team, and other trades
• Protect customers' property and maintain clean, organized work areas
• Document completed work with photos and report additional repair needs or project changes before performing extra work

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC duct installation experience preferred
• Experience with both new construction and duct replacement work
• Ability to measure accurately, follow layouts, and use installation tools safely
• Understanding of proper duct connections, sealing, insulation, support, and routing
• Ability to identify installation problems and communicate practical solutions
• Dependable attendance, professional conduct, and a team-oriented attitude
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local jobsites
• Ability to perform work in attics, crawlspaces, on ladders, and in varying temperatures, with reasonable accommodation as applicable
• Experience leading a helper or installation crew is a plus
• Experience fabricating metal fittings and transitions is a plus
• Experience with duct leakage testing, airflow checks, and material coordination is a plus

• Full-time, W-2 position
• Pay range: $22 - $30 per hour, depending on experience, demonstrated skill, and production
• Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
