| Assistant Transit Management Analyst II: | $78,874* – $87,847 |

Position Summary:

Operations Training is responsible for operation, technical and safety training for hourly and supervisory titles within the Department of Subways. The incumbent will be responsible for providing a wide range of professional functions to support the operation of the Service Delivery department of Operations Training, ensuring clear communication, incident tracking and reporting, and administrative efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Tracking the progress of and keeping accurate records for hourly/supervisory employees in Service Delivery training positions, including building and updating data dashboards for different training titles.
  • The candidate will perform analytical functions which include researching and analyzing data relating to operational procedures and operational infractions for service delivery titles.
  • Managing the status of projects and coordinating with executives across the agency to provide updates and timely submission of information utilizing charts, graphs, drawings and technical reports.
  • Develop and recommend procedural or process improvements.
  • Maintain schedules and calendars for the Service Delivery Training unit, including course dates, ongoing training, and time off.
  • Handle supply and technology ordering and distribution across the unit, which includes classrooms in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx.
  • Utilize the PEETS-Probationary Employee Evaluation Tracking System to monitor extensions, terminations and to ensure evaluations are performed in a timely manner.

  • Knowledge of NYCT Department of Subways preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel; PowerPoint and Teams)
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Education and Experience
  • A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration.
  • A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security…
