Alumni Relations and Development at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant - Events. The anticipated start date is August 18, 2025.

Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide-range of outdoor recreation activities. Additionally, Morehead State University is relatively close to a number of larger cities including Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Cincinnati, OH. RESPONSIBILITIES: Writes featured articles for our website and the Magazine. Facilitates website content management. Creates social media content. Assists in the creation, marketing, and promotion of engagement and event opportunities. Executes events on multiple scales from small to signature events. Tracks and maintains information in our alumni and donor database. Assists in the creation, marketing, and promotion of engagement and event opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be admitted to a graduate degree program. Must be enrolled in and maintain nine graduate course hours. Must be available to work 20 hours per week. Must maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA each semester. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
