Alumni Relations and Development at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant – Events. The anticipated start date is August 18, 2025. Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide range of outdoor recreation activities.

Additionally, Morehead State University is relatively close to a number of larger cities including Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities:

• Writes featured articles for our website and the Magazine.
• Facilitates website content management.
• Creates social media content.
• Assists in the creation, marketing, and promotion of engagement and event opportunities.
• Executes events on multiple scales from small to signature events.
• Tracks and maintains information in our alumni and donor database.

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to a graduate degree program.
• Must be enrolled in and maintain nine graduate course hours.
• Must be available to work 20 hours per week.
• Must maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA each semester.
