Position Overview
Adjunct Lecturer (CMAD) in the Communication, Media, Art & Design Department at Morehead State University. The role is part‑time, anticipated start date August 1, 2026, and reports to a department chair or associate dean.
Responsibilities- Teach two studio courses:
Art 214, Painting I (Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00–5:30) and ART 314, 414, 415:
Painting II, III, and IV (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 am–12:00). - Primary responsibility is instruction in the assigned discipline or related field.
- Lecture will teach in a typical classroom environment or an internet‑based environment; travel to a regional campus or off‑site location may be required.
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
- Master’s Degree in Fine Arts or MFA from an accredited institution in the discipline as recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (optional).
