Inspect assemblies and parts for proper operation, clearances, fits, visual defects and conformance to blueprint dimensions, tolerances and specifications.;
Check for proper operation of rotating, sliding or moving parts;
Prepare parts to ensure proper checking; clean, remove burrs, straighten or perform work necessary prior to inspection;
Perform duties as periodic inspection of parts in process at machines or work stations; at bench or surface plate as final or first piece to verify set up;
Notify appropriate personnel when dimensions or finish requirements are approaching rejection limits
