Travel RN - Operating Room - Outpatient Surgery​/Same Day Surgery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Surgery position with procedural/endoscopy expertise and on-call requirements.

Job Details

• Outpatient surgery unit within a hospital setting,

• Caseload is approximately 70% colonoscopies and endoscopies, with additional GI and procedural cases,

• Procedures include biopsies, endoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopies, snares, ERBE, gold probe, APC therapy, dilation, injector needles, and Roth nets,

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM based on daily case schedule,

• One on-call shift required per week,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in KY or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Minimum of 1 year of current, relevant outpatient surgery or procedural nursing experience,

• Proficiency with endoscopic and GI procedural equipment, including ERBE, gold probe, APC therapy, dilation tools, injector needles, and Roth nets,

• Work history documentation covering the past 3 years required for consideration,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Nurses must be procedurally trained with hands-on experience across a broad range of GI and endoscopic procedures,

• 13-week contract
