Field/Service Technician
If you re someone who prefers being out in the field instead of behind a desk, this opportunity was built for you. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, traveling, and tackling hands-on work with minimal supervision. You ll spend the majority of your time in the field collecting and documenting utility pole data.
What You ll Do- Conduct field inspections and data collection on utility poles throughout Kentucky.
- Identify and document communication attachments and utility infrastructure accurately.
- Navigate assigned routes independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Utilize maps and project documentation to support field activities and route planning.
- Operate a company vehicle and travel to project locations across the state.
- Complete limited office-based mapping and administrative work as needed.
- Work independently in the field while communicating progress to supervisors and project leadership.
- Valid driver s license and willingness to travel throughout Kentucky.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document field observations.
- Experience in landscaping, warehousing, construction, utility services, telecommunications, or other hands-on field environments preferred.
- Reliable work ethic, self-motivation, and strong time management skills.
- Ability to stay overnight near project locations when assignments require extended travel.
