Position Summary

Opportunity for an onsite position responsible for leading a team of associates to success. The Team Lead will be responsible for updating, maintaining, and aligning aspects within the department, guiding the team to achieve specific goals and playing an integral role in ensuring smooth operations, fostering a positive work environment, and driving 6S standards and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Updating, aligning, and maintaining Tier1 boards and daily targets.
  • Tracking and recording productivity on the hr‑by‑hr boards in a timely fashion.
  • Meeting regularly with the direct supervisor for touch‑point meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Identifying and defining action items to close target gaps.
  • Identifying gaps between 6S expectations and actual performance and driving improvement.
  • Updating the training matrix and facilitating 6S training for the team.
  • Evaluating associates’ performance on a 30, 60, 90‑day review schedule with supervisors and recording the information.
  • Overseeing training gaps and working with supervisors and management to engineer new processes for the area.
  • Issuing daily job assignments and keeping an accurate record of daily input data.
  • Ensuring materials are available at the point of use for the next scan/… (S/U).
  • Conducting regular audits of the area to locate unidentified material.
  • Ensuring the Hold Tags area is reviewed daily and timely.
  • Reporting missing inventory to the supervisor for accurate record keeping and tracking.
  • Managing expedited orders and scanning consumed material in Ultriva.
  • Splitting and/or closing any non‑standard cards in Ultriva.
  • Conducting regular card audits to ensure accuracy and tracking.
  • Auditing the end of shift in Ultriva to ensure department accuracy.
  • Providing backup to supervisory duties and responsibilities.
  • Performing any other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Critical Competencies and Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience of the area, processes, and procedures relevant to the department.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of inventory processes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle processes and functions related to the department and corresponding departments.
  • Knowledge of Ultriva processes and functions related to the department and corresponding departments.
  • Knowledge of machine preventive maintenance related to the department.
  • Clear understanding of VDM, material management, OJT, continuous improvement, and production processes.
  • Positive and encouraging mindset to create a positive team environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Excellent decision‑making skills with a proactive approach to conflict resolution.
