Admissions & Collections Clerk
The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking multiple Admissions & Collections Clerks in Moreno Valley.
Under general supervision, incumbents will be responsible for answering incoming calls, interviewing callers to determine needs, transferring calls to the appropriate department when needed, verifying insurance eligibility, and/or verifying there is a valid referral and authorization; specializing clerical work in checking-in, admitting, pre-registering, or scheduling patients for hospitalization or clinic visits, evaluating and determining financial liability for services and establishes payment sources, arranging payment plans consistent with patient ability to pay, and performing other related duties as required.
The Medical Call Center is responsible for scheduling appointments in the external CHC, Main Hospital, and Main Surgical Center. The following professional experience/knowledge is highly desired:
- Bilingual
- Experience in the medical field/office
- Call center experience
This position does allow for telecommuting but will require employees to report to the office for training and equipment issues.
Work Schedule:
5/40:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
