Job SummaryThe Assistant Site Coordinator supports the Site Coordinator in overseeing on‑site logistics and administrative responsibilities. The role supports the on‑site team to deliver impactful after‑school program experiences, leads daily meal logistics, field trips, and events, and serves as contact for parents, community members, administration, and staff.
Role Overview- Ensure students are in a safe environment (physically and emotionally), promoting inclusivity and respect.
- Support the on‑site team to deliver high‑quality programs and customer service.
- Coordinate snacks and meals with vendor and provide related training to the WR team; submit required documentation.
- Implement site protocols, safety regulations, WR procedures and policies.
- Track all compliance requirements and submit required documentation accurately and timely (attendance records, program surveys, cycle reports).
- Comply with safety requirements and emergency protocols, maintain required training and certifications.
- Build collaborative relationships with participants, families, staff, and colleagues.
- Support planning of culminating activities and events that highlight participants’ work and accomplishments.
- May attend off‑site field trips if the Site Coordinator is unavailable.
- Participate in staff development trainings (~30 hours across multiple weekends/insession days throughout spring).

Detail‑oriented, energetic, ambitious, proactive, and positive; able to work independently and collaboratively. Strong multi‑tasking and attention to detail. Comfortable presenting and speaking in front of staff and peers during in‑person training.
Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent
- FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance
- TB Test clearance
- First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR)
- Six months of experience supervising or leading a team/group of children in a school recreational setting or six units in child development
- Ability to use a smartphone for work related business (WR provides Wi‑Fi/cell stipend)
- Pass assessment test evaluating math, reading comprehension, and spelling skills
- For ABC Unified School District (Cerritos) Candidates ONLY – 48+ College Units or ABC Unified Para educator Test Completion.
- Frequent standing during working hours
- Regular use of hands for operating a computer and handling objects
- Frequently required to talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds
