Special Education Teacher - Moreno Valley, California

Step into a fulfilling role supporting students in the Moreno Valley area as a dedicated Special Education Teacher. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference every day. You'll be working full-time, devoting 35-37.5 hours per week to a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload.

You'll collaborate closely with school staff and families to develop and implement effective educational plans and support services for students with diverse learning needs.

Desired Experience &

Qualifications:

• Valid and active California Special Education Teacher credential, or Mild to Moderate credential (required)
• Prior experience in RSP settings or working with students with mild to moderate disabilities is highly valued
• Solid knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, staff, and families
• Ability to create individualized learning strategies and support plans
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in RSP
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure compliance and student progress
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Track student performance, collect data, and adjust strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student goals and achievements
