The Riverside University Health System's (RUHS) - Medical Center seeks a Nursing Assistant
- Full Time to join our team in Moreno Valley. Under supervision, assists professional nursing personnel or other professional healthcare providers in providing basic patient care and treatment; observes patients via video monitoring equipment from a remote location; performs nonprofessional nursing duties in the care of physically and mentally ill patients; performs other related duties as required. This position provides compassionate, patient-centered care by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring and documenting patient status, supporting clinical procedures, maintaining a safe environment, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes.
The Nursing Assistant is an entry-level classification and typically reports to appropriate supervisory or management-level nursing staff. Incumbents may be assigned to any outpatient clinic or inpatient nursing unit across the Riverside University Health System (RUHS) or within the Department of Public Health. The Nursing Assistant is distinguished from the Licensed Vocational Nurse I in that Nursing Assistants are not required to possess a license and do not administer medicine.
The most competitive candidate will possess one year of acute care CNA experience. Bilingual skills preferred but not required. Copies of your Nursing Assistant certification and AHA BLS card must be uploaded to your profile as an attachment at the time of submitting your application to be considered.
Schedule:
Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM ( 6-12hrs shift and 1-8hr shift with every other weekend commitment). Schedule may rotate based on operational needs. Weekend/Holiday Requirement :

Salary Range: $21.54 - $28.70 Hourly $3,733.32-$4,974.66 Monthly $44,799.87-$59,695.92 Annually Nursing Assistant Differentials:
Evening Shift Diff (6:00pm - 11:00pm) : $.60 for the time actually worked between the hours Night Shift Diff (11:00pm - 7:00am) : $1.20 for the time actually worked between the hours
