About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. This opportunity starts on Dec 13, 2025, with 24-hour shifts and a staffing model that includes both physician and advanced practice provider coverage. Board certification in Emergency Medicine and current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. Candidates must have completed residency training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and possess at least two years of emergency medicine experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive care for emergency medical cases in accordance with current clinical guidelines
Deliver patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within the emergency department
Coordinate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Adhere to all state and facility regulations and protocols

Additional Information
Active Louisiana medical license required
Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
Residency training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is mandatory
Must have a minimum of two years of emergency medicine experience
