What You'll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to emergency department patients
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment needs
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including infection control protocols
What You Need
Required:- Active Louisiana RN license
- 2+ years in ER or similar acute care environment
- Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Additional clinical certifications in specialty areas
- Experience working in fast-paced hospital settings
