Advert Intermoor, Acteon’s Moorings and Anchors business line, provides project and operational management expertise to customers across the mooring lifecycle. By combining operational knowledge of mooring equipment, anchor handling and industry failure modes with subsea engineering expertise, we create a company unmatched within the mooring niche. This approach mitigates risks in delivery, installation and operations across the lifecycle, reducing mooring lifecycle costs and safeguarding major operations that protect start-up schedules when mooring and mooring intervention are on the project or production critical path.

Intermoor is hiring for full‑time Offshore Riggers in Morgan City. The Offshore Rigger is responsible for handling the set up or assembly of rigging to maneuver equipment and materials on vessel or jobsite. Must be available for 24‑hour call. Travel to various Intermoor facilities or work locations (both onshore and offshore) is required. When traveling offshore or overseas, the individual must have a valid, state‑issued , driver’s license and/or passport.

Due to the work required, candidates must live within commuting distance of our site in Morgan City. The successful candidate will also be required to work offshore & at our site in Fourchon.

Duties
  • Understand and participate in job planning process
  • Proper selection and usage of hand tools
  • Possess the ability to make/break connecting links
  • Fundamental knot tying
  • Must be able to understand and use proper rigging hand signals
  • Safely operate deck equipment
  • Ability to visually inspect rigging equipment
  • Possess the ability to perform basic rigging techniques
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Offshore rigging experience a plus
  • Certificates/Licenses required at hire or within the probation period (90 days):
  • Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC)
  • Must possess a valid, state‑issued driver’s license when operating company vehicles
  • Passport
  • IADC Rig Pass
  • SemS Awareness
  • Huet with OPITO
  • 8‑hour Rigger’s course and any other required training for Client‑specific training
