Montessori Infant Lead/Toddler Teacher (6 Weeks - 2 Years)

What You Will Do
  • Create and maintain a peaceful, beautifully prepared Montessori infant environment rooted in respect and responsiveness.
  • Provide attentive, individualized care that supports each child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Support feeding, diapering, and sleep routines with warmth and consistency, honoring each child's natural rhythms.
  • Observe and document developmental milestones, guiding each infant's growth with patience and intention.
  • Foster early independence through purposeful materials and thoughtful guidance.
  • Build strong, trusting partnerships with families through open and respectful communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to cultivate a cohesive and supportive school community.
  • Establish a classroom culture grounded in security, attachment, and joyful discovery.
What We Are Looking For
  • 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required (Infant/Toddler units preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 2 years
  • Experience leading a classroom and mentoring assistants preferred
  • Montessori training (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) or a strong desire to deepen understanding of the Montessori infant philosophy
  • Comfortable supporting feeding, diapering, and sleep routines with attentiveness and care
  • Warm, collaborative, and highly organized teaching style
  • Commitment to respect, inclusivity, consistency, and responsive caregiving
