Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity guiding high school students as a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) educator from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Essential

Qualifications:

• Valid and current CTC Certification for Special Education (Mild/Moderate)
• Proven experience or strong passion for working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with high school students
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Ability to design, implement, and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Up-to-date knowledge of special education best practices and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction tailored to student IEPs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Track and report student progress, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
• Lead IEP meetings, communicating effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Create engaging, accessible learning experiences that empower students and build confidence
• Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding instructional strategies and student needs
