As a Sr. PC Board Designer/Librarian based in Morgan Hill you will have responsibility for layout experience using Siemens PADS Standard Plus in multilayer high density high-speed design high layer count with mixed signals, Analog / Digital, RF and Flex PCBs. RF, HS, controlled impedance, SMT, FPGA and thru-hole technology. You will also be responsible for layout experience using Siemens Xpedition with high-speed digital design and RF designs.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Project requirements understanding, involve in high speed and high layer count PCB design for complex circuit architectures / designs, microstrip and strip line designs. Experience in blind vias and back drilling.
* Works from preliminary schematics, mechanical drawings and basic description of the board function.
* Provide engineering support and knowledgeable interaction with mechanical designers.
* Create documentation from engineering conceptualization to completed board assembly and fabrication.
* Interface with vendors on fabrication and assembly.
* Library parts creation and maintenance.
* Creates new parts submitted through internal systems. Review requests for accuracy, RoHS statement and complete data in SAP.
* Generates the needed information for the PCB design software and creates the decal for parts.
* Generates and/or checks the symbol for the schematic software.
* This position will be reporting to the PCB Design Manager based in Morgan Hill.
Requirements:
* 6+ years of related experience as a PCB Designer in Siemens PADS Standard Plus
* 2+ years of related experience as a PCB Designer in Siemens Xpedition
* Requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience as a Librarian using Siemens PADS Standard Plus
* Familiarity with FR4, Roger's materials and flex materials.
* Must be strong in IPC standards library footprint creation.

* Requires minimal supervision.
* Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. May provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $143,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
