Retail Finance Representative (Credit & Collections)

Your role will focus on reducing delinquency for assigned accounts, maintaining a low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and providing excellent service to both retail customers and internal teams through phone, email, or virtual interactions.
Responsibilities- Reduce delinquency for assigned accounts and maintain low DSO.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail customers and internal teams in person, by phone, email, or virtually.
- Resolve payment portal issues and outstanding invoices for customers.
- Reconcile customer accounts receivable as needed.
- Collaborate with sales and senior management on troubled accounts.
- Handle a high volume of phone calls and emails to collect on delinquencies.
- Open new business lines by requesting and analyzing financial statements, recommending credit limits, and following up on receivable collections.
- Undergraduate Business degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or credit field.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Customer‑support background with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization skills, ability to meet deadlines, and skill in escalating issues when necessary.
- Flexibility to switch gears on short notice and maintain composure under high‑stress conditions.
- Optimistic, positive, and supportive demeanor in all interactions.
- Proven follow‑up skills and confidence in requesting payments from customers.
- Experience in analyzing financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel and Word experience.
- Oracle experience is preferred.
- Competitive pay: $25/hr – $35/hr with annual performance reviews.
