- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, production planning, or a similar role from a complex electromechanical system/equipment company or aerospace
- Deep understanding of forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, and cross‑functional coordination
- Strong working knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and capacity planning
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Proven negotiation and supplier management abilities
- Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for all production materials
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to hit cost and delivery targets
- Drive supplier performance across on‑time delivery, quality, and responsiveness
- Manage open purchase orders and resolve issues including delays, shortages, and quality concerns
- Identify and implement cost reduction and supply continuity strategies
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules aligned to customer commitments and revenue priorities
- Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans based on capacity, labor, and material constraints
- Communicate clear build plans and priorities across the production floor
- Own material planning to ensure alignment with production schedules
- Establish and manage inventory policies (min/max, safety stock) to prevent shortages and minimize excess
- Execute MRP planning within ERP systems and proactively identify and mitigate supply risks
