The Nurse Director of Women's Services will lead a modern OB unit offering 6 private spacious birthing suites
, each designed with thoughtful family accommodations for comfort and connection. Hotel-like amenities create a calming, supportive environment from admission through bonding. A dedicated, state-of-the-art C-section operating room with an adjacent recovery space enables seamless, safe care for surgical deliveries. Two strategically placed nurses’ stations support efficient workflows, collaboration, and vigilant oversight. A welcoming newborn nursery and an airy two-story atrium lobby and waiting area provide an uplifting, contemporary experience guided by the Director of Obstetrics OB.

Reporting directly to the CNO, the Director RN OB collaborates with friendly L&D nurses, lactation specialists, OB/GYNs, anesthesiology, pediatrics, midwives, and ancillary teams that reflect the community’s diversity. The experienced OB Nurse Leader will steer daily operations across triage, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and the newborn nursery with a relentless focus on safety and service. The Obstetrics Nursing Director will advance performance improvement, perinatal quality metrics, regulatory readiness, and evidence-based protocols.

Other responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, mentoring, and shared governance initiatives to cultivate engagement, professional growth, and retention. The Director of Women’s Services will also foster physician partnerships, care coordination, readiness drills, and technology optimization to streamline throughput and elevate outcomes.
