Assistant Store Manager

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations in a fast-paced, athlete-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily store operations and execution of company standards
• Lead, coach, and schedule sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service
• Drive sales performance through product knowledge, merchandising, and compelling in-store presentations
• Monitor KPIs, shrink, inventory accuracy, and cash handling compliance
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive shopping environment aligned with company policies
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
• Resolve customer issues promptly while modeling a service-first mindset
• Partner with leadership to execute promotions, events, and community outreach
• Maintain strong knowledge of sports equipment, apparel, and footwear categories
