Position: Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic

Papé Kenworth is seeking a Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic to keep our customers' Kenworth fleets running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll diagnose and repair diesel engines, drive trains, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems while performing preventative maintenance and DOT inspections. You'll use OEM diagnostic software, follow factory repair procedures, and document all work accurately. Working in a family-owned, customer-first environment, you'll collaborate with a supportive team, receive ongoing technical training, and build a long-term career maintaining industry-leading commercial trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drive trains, brakes, and electrical systems on Kenworth trucks
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
  • Use diagnostic software and electronic service tools to troubleshoot issues
  • Complete accurate repair orders, documentation, and parts requests in the system
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors and customers
  • Follow all safety procedures, shop standards, and OEM repair guidelines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and parts staff to complete repairs efficiently
  • Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and care for shop tools and equipment
