Wellness Counselor Interns

Wellness Intern

Under the supervision of a designated Wellness Counselor, the Wellness Intern will assist with the daily operations of the Wellness Center, providing direct support to students and conducting assessments and counseling sessions. The Wellness Intern will work with students in need of mental health and wellness support and assist in the development and delivery of wellness-related programs. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in the field of counseling, social work, and mental health while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

The intern will engage in professional development, case management, and team collaboration in support of the wellness services provided to students.

Enrollment in a Master's level graduate program for a Master of Social Work (MSW), Counseling (MFT or Clinical Counseling), or Be in an accredited program to earn a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in School Social Work (preferred) or School Counseling. Valid California Driver's license
