• Fluency in American Sign Language
• Prior experience working in school settings, ideally as a Sign Language Interpreter
• EIPA score of 3.5 or above, or RID certification preferred
• Confidence interpreting in both educational and social settings for high school students
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and high professional standards

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a high school student, in both classroom and other school activities
• Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to ensure effective communication accommodations
• Foster an accessible and positive educational experience
• Support student engagement and participation throughout the school day
• Ensure adherence to all relevant protocols, ethical guidelines, and district policies
