  • Job Purpose:
    • We are seeking a passionate, student-centered School Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that supports students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development in grades K-5. This role requires strong classroom management skills, subject matter expertise, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
    • Candidates must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina Teaching license

Job Description and Duties
  • Develops lesson plans and instructional materials, providing effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintains effective classroom management, recognizes and addresses learning and behavior issues. Understand and assess the developmental appropriateness of materials and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Evaluate student accomplishments regularly using multiple assessment methods; provide progress and interim reports for feedback.
  • Communicates with parepromptlynner; maintains positive, constructive communication with students, staff, parents, and the community.
  • Protects students, materials, assets, and facilities by taking necessary and reasonable precautions.
  • Upholds and enforces board policy, district goals, administrative procedures, es and school rules and regulations.
  • Adheres to health and safety policies.
  • Maintains appropriate work habits, including regular and punctual attendance and appropriate use of conference and planning time.
  • Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory;
    Attends workshops, and PLCs as well as staff department, curricular development, and staff development sessions as required.
  • Respects the confidentiality of records and information regarding students, parents, and teachers in accordance with accepted professional ethics and state and federal laws.
  • Shares responsibility during the school day for the supervision of students in various areas of the school.
  • Ability to perform non-instructional duties as assigned.
