Business Manager - Morganton, NC (On-site | Full-Time)

seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team in Morganton, NC. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in supporting a financial advisor or team of advisors by managing back-office operations and ensuring a seamless client experience.

The Business Manager acts as the operational support for a high-performing financial advisor or advisory team. This role requires a strong understanding of broker/dealer and RIA operations, including account opening procedures, asset movement, and identifying and resolving NIGOs (Not in Good Order items). The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of key processes and client onboarding.

• Oversee and manage operational workflows for brokerage and advisory accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
• Coordinate money and security/product movement securely and accurately
• Manage account paperwork, including new account setup and asset transfers
• Identify and resolve NIGOs (Not in Good Order) in a timely manner
• Accurately perform data entry and maintain client records
• Facilitate new client onboarding processes from start to finish
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with and support other internal operations teams
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership over key relationships and workflows

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience or strong interest in working in a broker/dealer or RIA environment
• Familiarity with money and security/product movement processes
• Understanding of account opening procedures for brokerage and advisory platforms
• High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset
• Interest in obtaining Series 7 license
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at our Morganton office
