Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Digestive Health department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic patients.

• Growing Digestive Health group
• Working with clinic patients - Discussion of endoscopy reports and managing acute or chronic GI issues
• Access to a broad scope of specialist within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network
• A well respected organization in the community and across the state

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

• FNP experience preferred, will consider new grads

• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction and care of patients
• Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
