Parts Room Attendant

OVERVIEW

Position is responsible for receipt, adjustments, and stocking of parts and supplies related to the maintenance of all complex equipment and facilities.

• Provides prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities.
• Ships items from the facility.
• Receives items into the facility.
• Organizes and stocks all incoming items.
• Disperses parts and materials to other workers in the company.
• Enters transactions into the company database for each item received or dispersed.
• Maintains inventory records.
• May drive company truck to pick up incoming stock.
• May drive company truck to deliver items to other company or community locations.
• Responds to customers’ needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possession of valid driver’s license.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Clerical experience and knowledge of internal inventory.
• Familiarity with computer use and systems.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Satisfactory communication skills, both oral and written.
• Satisfactory customer service skills.
• Self‑motivated, high‑energy level, excellent attendance.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stretch, walk, reach, twist, bend, use hands and fingers, handle objects or controls, talk, hear.
• Ability to use dolly.
• Frequent travel on foot outdoors to make deliveries.
