** GENERAL PURPOSE
** At our Morganton, NC warehouse location, the Material Handler plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*** Receive, store, and stage raw materials, components, and finished goods according to established procedures.
* Pull, deliver, and track parts and materials to production areas in a timely and accurate manner to support manufacturing schedules.
* Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and carts safely and in accordance with company policies.
* Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning, labeling, and documentation processes.
* Perform material transactions in the system to ensure accurate inventory control and traceability.
* Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and material audits as needed.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety and 5S guidelines.
* Cross-train in other warehouse or production support functions to provide operational flexibility.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.

* Education/Experience
* One of the following is required: (1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency
* Prior material handling or warehouse experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
* Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required.

Skills and Abilities

* Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction) and attention to detail.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production and logistics teams.
* Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to a continually changing environment.
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards.
* Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking preferred.
