The Process Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton-Marion Area. This role is responsible for setting up, monitoring, and optimizing plastic molding processes to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production. Day-to-day tasks include adjusting machine parameters, performing routine inspections, identifying and resolving process-related issues, and supporting preventive maintenance activities. The Process Technician collaborates with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet quality standards, reduce downtime, and improve throughput.

The role also involves documenting process changes, assisting with new product trials, and providing training and support to operators on proper machine operation and safety procedures.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve process and equipment issues.
• Experience in quality control and adherence to ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Knowledge of process engineering principles related to plastic molding or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to perform and support preventive maintenance on molding equipment and related systems.
• Experience providing training and guidance to machine operators or production team members.
• Previous experience in plastics
• manufacturing or a similar industrial environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings or work instructions.
• Commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and consistent attendance for full-time on-site work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in plastic processing
• or vocational training in manufacturing or industrial technology is a plus.
