Mission Interventional Spine is a freestanding outpatient procedural clinic, located near Mission Hospital. We specialize in providing spinal and hip injections for patients managing chronic or acute pain. Our clinic operates independently within Mission Health, creating a focused, team-driven environment where every RN plays an essential role in the patient journey.
Patient Population
We serve adult patients in need of interventional pain procedures. Each patient is scheduled for approximately 90 minutes of care, from intake through recovery. You will care for one patient at a time and rotate through all three phases: pre-op, procedure, and recovery.

Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse in Outpatient Infusion Services will be trained/certified in the administration of chemotherapeutic/biotherapy agents. The RN will provide leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well being of the patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18, Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. Exemptions may be approved with CNO System Council approval. - Required License/
Certifications:
Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply; licensee should confirm with NCBON. Certification:
Chemotherapy Administration;
Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider. - Preferred Experience: At least 2 years in medical/surgical or oncology nursing
