We are seeking an ECT RN PRN for our team at Mission Hospital to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

Mission Hospital, a member of Mission Health and an operating division of HCA Healthcare, is located in Asheville, North Carolina. It serves as a regional tertiary and qua ternary care center and includes the only children’s hospital in Western North Carolina, among other recognitions.

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care per the department’s requirements and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team members to deliver individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
• Advocate for patients/families/caregivers and model the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes.
• Assess patient condition during admission and with each shift as scheduled or as needed, reporting any changes in status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and document care in the patient’s medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to resolve them proactively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that supports recovery.
• Coordinate continuation of care by interfacing with healthcare providers and community support systems for ongoing needs of specialized patient groups.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse Licensure (RN).
• Bachelor’s Degree, or work experience in lieu of degree.
