Registered Nurse Mixed - ER

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Provide leadership that facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Implement medically prescribed interventions.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program; must obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Grandfathering accepted between departments and Mission Health entities. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt.
• License:
  Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply; must confirm with NCBO. Must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience:
  
  One year hospital nursing experience.
