As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at HCA Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing vigilant, high‑level care to patients transitioning from the ICU. You will help patients get stronger, avoid complications, and take steps toward healing. You will work closely with a skilled critical care team committed to improving lives every day.

• Provide hands‑on care for patients with complex needs by administering medications, assisting with activities of daily living, managing tubes and drains, and assisting with advanced monitoring.
• Monitor closely for changes in heart rate, oxygen levels, or neurological status and quickly alert the team to support early treatment.
• Keep clear and timely records to help the team work together and keep patients safe.
• Help patients and families understand their condition and feel supported as they navigate serious conditions and recovery steps.
• Work closely with RNs, doctors, and specialists to help patients stabilize and move forward from intensive care.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
• Vocational school graduate.
