Job Overview

Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab PRN – Morganton, NC

We are seeking a skilled RN to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures in both fixed hospital-based labs and mobile units across North Carolina.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition.
• Provide care tailored to the patient’s condition and age.
• Document all care and procedures accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments.
• Assist the cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing as required.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑procedure care for adult patients.

• Licensed RN in North Carolina or a compact state with an unencumbered license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience, including work with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso‑active medications.
• Ability to read and recognize electrocardiograms (EKGs) and dysrhythmias.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
