American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac (IMCU) night shift position requiring an NC or compact RN license and prior stepdown or IMCU experience.

• Work in the Stepdown Cardiac (IMCU) unit of a hospital setting
• Care for higher acuity cardiac patients, including post heart cath patients stepping down from ICU
• Manages drips including precedex, Endotool insulin drips, 0.3% NaCl, dopamine, and dobutamine
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• RTO must be listed on application and approved prior to confirmation
• Background checks will not accept DUI or DWI within the past year, other findings reviewed case by case
• Former staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for return
