Role:
Provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process - assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient teaching. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications- Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience
- Lead and supervise nursing care delivery
- Assess patient needs and plan appropriate care
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
- Educate patients and families about health management
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and knowledge of nursing processes.
