Role Overview:
The Nurse Educator enhances patient care quality by developing and delivering evidence-based educational programs for nursing and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Designs, manages, and evaluates onboarding, orientation, and competency programs.
- Collaborates with leadership to tailor educational activities addressing practice gaps.
- Promotes evidence-based practice (EBP), research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Encourages continuous learning and skill mastery across staff levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required;
Master’s preferred. - 2+ years in clinical education, leadership, or academia; experience in acute care preferred.
- RN license in practice state or active compact license required.
- Certification in specialty area preferred; BLS certification required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
